Math&Move Presented at the 3rd EASE Summit!

We are thrilled to announce that our Erasmus+ project, Math&Move, was featured at the 3rd European Summit for STEAM Educators (EASE)! This prestigious event, dedicated to promoting innovative education practices, provided the perfect platform to showcase to more than 1300 participants how Math&Move is transforming mathematics education for primary school pupils, especially those facing challenges with math-related learning disabilities or experiencing ‘math-phobia’.

The presentation highlighted the challenges in math proficiency across Europe and how traditional teaching methods often fall short, particularly for students with learning difficulties like dyscalculia. Math&Move seeks to address these issues by providing dynamic, interactive, and inclusive resources for both educators and parents.

The impact of Math&Move has been overwhelmingly positive, with over 208 pupils across four countries participating in our trials. More than 70% of students reported improved understanding of math concepts through movement-based activities, and 80% found that learning math through stories made the subject more enjoyable. This feedback confirms that Math&Move is making a meaningful difference in students’ attitudes and abilities in mathematics. Thank you to the EASE Summit for the opportunity to share our work, and we look forward to continuing to collaborate with educators and partners across Europe to enhance math education for all students!
